Icicles are oh so pretty! Except when they are a result of an ice dam on your roof. Besides it being my birthday yesterday, we also ended up with a real nice ice dam on the roof and a steady leak inside. Frustrating, given all the work we went to this summer to insulate and prevent heat loss from the roof. "big sigh".
Miles isn't the only engineer in the house though....
1. Piece of tin foil. 2. Piece painters tape. 3. A trash bucket, sitting on a ladder weighed down by a tool box. Equals, my low cost solution for catching drips.
My hourly rate is only a mere $30.
